This paper describes new equipment which makes it possible to transmit ARSR raw video through narrow band transmission line. Utilization of information redundancy pertinent to the radar video has brought reduction of the necessary video bandwidth approximately to 40 kHz, insuring that the quality of the restored PPI display is sufficient for airtraffic control use.
