In cooperation with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., Fuji Electric has test manufactured a light weight, easy to maintain sea water submersible motor and its control equipment for a deep-sea submersible research vessel with a submersible depth of 6,000 m. The motor has undergone a pressure test at 300 kg/sq cm and satisfactory data were obtained. This motor will be introduced here.
