Four German universities offering Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering master programs have joined forces in the educational network mar-ing. Exporting their complementary educational and research expertise to the partner universities shall increase the number of students and decrease drop-out quotas. The design of the network, its background and objectives are outlined as well as the implemented infrastructure for supporting collaborative teaching. Special interest is paid to the eLearning methods meeting the special requirements in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering.
