For investigation of vehicle curving behaviour with random track irregularities there is no direct statistical procedure. In this paper the statistical linearization method on straight track has been extended to the curved track and a procedure of statistical linearization of the nonlinear contact geometry and nonlinear contact mechanics during curving with random track irregularities is presented. Using this procedure the curving problem with random track irregularities can be directly treated using statistical methods.
