Turbulence is highly irregular flows of a medium with intensive mixing and chaotic variation of parameters. This is one of the most complicated natural phenomena, and its study often requires a philosophically deep insight into the heart of the things. According to an apocryphal story, the famous scientist Theodore von Kármán was quoted as saying that having appeared before the Creator the first thing he would ask him would be to reveal the mistery of turbulence.
