This paper proposes to take the competitiveness of green ports as the research object, and establishes an index system containing four major aspects: production scale, green equipment, ecological environment, and environmental management. The index data of Shanghai Port, Qingdao Port, Guangzhou Port, Tianjin Port, Xiamen Port, and Fuzhou Port in 2020 were collected to establish a comprehensive evaluation model based on the entropy weight method. The entropy weighting method was first used to determine the weight of each indicator, and then the comprehensive score of each port was calculated. The results show that Shanghai port is inferior to other ports in terms of the green environment due to its faster urbanization, and the green competitiveness of these six ports are Fuzhou port, Qingdao port, Xiamen port, Tianjin port, Guangzhou port, and Shanghai port in order of size. This paper complements the research on port competitiveness and provides theoretical support for the development of green ports.
