The paper discusses the fundamental issues of applying the Kantorovich–Vlasov method for the initial design estimation of the strength of thin-walled wing and fuselage structures in a finite element formulation. The approach used allows us to build a multilevel stress-strain state estimation algorithm, starting with the simplest models, including a beam model, and to refine the solution. Numerical examples of calculation of composite structures are considered, in which the results are compared with the finite element and the analytical methods.
