Abstract With the rapid development of automobile industry, the problems of industrial energy and environment are also becoming increasingly prominent. The overusing of fossil energy and the exhaust emission during vehicle driving are mainly responsible for the pollution of PM and Photochemistry event (Shi et al. in Environ. Sci. 1105–1116, 2015 [1]). The Chinese government is pushing ahead with the implementation of automotive eco-design and the policy of energy saving and emission reduction is strengthened day by day. The light weight of automobile materials is one of the ways to save energy and reduce emissions by automobile manufacturers.
