This study presents a comprehensive modeling approach to investigate the impact of solar radiation pressure (SRP) on the BRIsat‘s orbital parameters, Indonesia's geosynchronous satellite. To calculate the effect of SRP on BRIsat, we utilized data on satellite dimensions and geocentric vectors of both the satellite and the Sun, derived from Two-Line Element sets. Due to the lack of precise data, we relied on assumptions to estimate the satellite dimensions. Data processing was performed using FreeFlyer and Python. We compared the orbital parameters of BRIsat with and without the influence of SRP, demonstrating the effect of SRP. The results show that SRP has a significant impact on BRIsat's orbital parameters, particularly in the eccentricity and argument of perigee. The increasing distance between the two scenarios indicates the impact of SRP Over a period of almost one year, the distance between the satellite's scenarios with SRP and without SRP increases progressively, reaching up to 250 km. Over a span of more than two and a half years, this distance further expands, with a maximum observed value of 364 km. This study concludes the importance of considering SRP in the modeling of satellite orbits, particularly for long-term predictions and control of satellite trajectories.
