In view of the lack of completeness, systematization and strong subjectivity of the traditional UAV cluster distributed combat effectiveness evaluation, this paper proposes a new evaluation method based on DoDAF. From the perspective of combat and capability, the distributed combat system of UAV cluster is analyzed to form the organizational relationship and activity capability mapping within the system. Driven by the system capability requirements, the capability list of UAV cluster distributed combat is formed. Mathematical modeling and analysis method of UAV cluster distributed combat effectiveness evaluation system is presented by using the analytic hierarchy process, and the direct relationship between test results and combat effectiveness evaluation is formed. Finally, the above method is evidenced by transforming the experimental results of a UAV’s recognition range, recognition accuracy and azimuth resolution into the effectiveness evaluation of recognition capability. The results show that the combat effectiveness evaluation method has high credibility, concise and intuitive form, which can promote the understanding of the characteristics of cluster distributed UAV combat and accelerate the pace of the new system of cooperative combat style.
