The results of refining the known methods and developing new ones are presented for selecting and optimizing the main parameters of turbochargers in the design of gas turbine engines. Methods have been developed for determining the optimal number of stages, placing points for stages on the Smith charts, changing the work along the height of the flow path and the geometry of turbine and compressor elements.
