Transportation costs are very important for world agriculture market for their impact on food prices, hence, the use of new approaches to analyze trade interactions and costs can provide new insights to understand it. This paper aims to investigate the Brazilian soybean supply chain, especially on transportation costs. To do so, we collected 2020 data on transportation costs of the main productor states, ports, transport methods and sea routes and analyzed it using Social Network Analysis (SNA) method. The results showed that truck is the Brazilian most used transportation method, with train or barge used as complementary in restricted regions. Sea routes costs are directly related to the geographic location of the port. For China markets, Northern ports have lower costs when using Panama Canal as a route, while Southern ports has lower costs when use Good Hope and Cape Horn respectively. The European market is served directly, with lower costs for northern ports.
