Objective It reveals the relation between the disorder of biological clock and metabolic diseases, and provides relevant information for improving human health. Method The relation between biological clock and metabolic diseases is interpreted from several aspects, including the assistance of biological clock in treating obesity, biological clock regulating alcoholic liver disease, gastric nerves playing the role of biological clock to limit individual food intake, inner biological clock causing diabetes and obesity Reverb-α/β molecular control of biological clock and lipometabolism, and p75NTR, the key protein of biological clock, regulating metabolism. Results The strong correlation between biological clock disorder and metabolic diseases is discovered. Conclusion The relationship between biological clock and metabolic diseases is clarified, which can provide technical support and application value in diagnosis and treatment for clinicians.
