Abstract In terms of aircraft landing capabilities in different weather conditions, the instrument landing systems are classified by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) [1–3]. The concept of the system’s operational characteristics, which allow to provide landings with an established probability was adopted as the grounds for the classification.
