Abstract One of the most commonly used modes of transport is the roadways. The roadways in our country extend from one end to another. When travelling from one place to another by road, accidents can occur due to many reasons like loss of concentration, natural calamities a many more. Many people lose their lives because they are not able to get medical help in time. In this project, we propose a system to avoid accidents and also if an accident occurs get help to the place of accident as soon as possible. In this project, we detect the oncoming vehicles towards us and if the distance is less than the threshold, we alert the driver about it. If an accident occurs, we retrieve the location of the vehicle. This location is then stored in the database. This data is then used to find the location of the nearest hospital and a communication with the locality of the vehicle is sent to them. Thus medical help can reach the point of accident as soon as possible. Also messages will be sent to their family members to inform them about the accident.
