EEAs are seen as vehicles’ backbones and optimizing them often results in benefits for other systems. Although optimization brings progress for itself and other systems, it is hard to identify optima for EEAs due to its interdisciplinary and conflicting design criteria. Before the actions taken for this research are presented, it is necessary to point out the results of the previous action planning. In this chapter the problem is structured into core aspects.
