The increasing scarcity of airport resources is a common problem in airport operations management. Therefore, the mathematical description of the airport gate scheduling joint optimization problems modeling and the solving methods under the constraints of airport coordinate and hardware facilities received attention. This paper introduces the progress of joint research, respectively, from the gate assignment joint taxiway research and the gate assignment joint push control research. Firstly, the theory method of airport gate scheduling joint optimization problems is reviewed. Secondly, objective function and constraints within the model and the joint research on conflict characteristics as well as the solutions are reviewed; finally, the conclusion is drawn.
