Rail transit is a very important infrastructure in the national transportation construction. It plays an irreplaceable role and has unique advantages in many aspects, such as passenger transport, cargo transport and national defense security, which is directly related to the lifeline of the national economy and the development of the society. With the continuous progress of society, new rail transit trains are constantly being invested, old trains need to be repaired and updated, and the demand for train equipment is steadily rising, especially the chips responsible for train control. Based on the current global “core shortage” background, this article mainly introduces the chips required for trains, and briefly analyzes the current situation and development trends of train control chips, and finally puts forward an outlook for the future development of the global market.
