Abstract The aim of rollover prevention is to provide the vehicle with an ability to resist overturning moments generated during cornering. The problem with heavy vehicles in terms of roll stability is a relatively high mass center and narrow track width. When the vehicle is changing lanes or trying to go round obstacles, the vehicle body rolls out of the bend and the center of mass shifts out of the centerline, and a destabilizing moment is created.
