The starting point of this work was recognizing that the developments surrounding the smart mobility concept will strongly influence future transportation. As is being discussed by the transportation community, changes induced by ubiquitous connectivity or automation are very likely transformational. Within society, stakeholders and users have already begun facing an automobile regime that displays the first cracks. Uncertainty and ambiguity arise through the emergence of complex and highly volatile changes.
