The article presents the field studies results of the double log wooden wall moisture state. The study was carried out on the basis of an experimental wooden house, which was built in Petrozavodsk (Republic of Karelia, Russia) in 2020. Moisture parameters were recorded by sensors installed in the layers of the wall structure during construction. Four measurement points were selected for the study. At each measurement point, two cross sections were selected - narrowest wall cross section and widest wall cross section. The experiment was carried out over a calendar month in the winter period of 2021. The studies were carried out in a stationary microclimate, that is, there were no factors inside the room that influenced changes in temperature and relative humidity. According to observations results, a zone of high humidity was revealed in the structure of the wall. A preliminary assessment of the identified zone and possible reasons for the increase in humidity in the wall structure is given.
