Whether driving yourself or riding along, whether owning or sharing, the attractiveness of a mobility service always depends on the features and functions of the vehicles used. Anyone who wants to get a picture of the mobility of the future should therefore be able to get a picture of the vehicles that will then be on the roads. In order to be able to do this, one should in turn take a close look at the technological innovations that vehicle manufacturers are working on today. Also, there is agreement across all manufacturers in the industry today about which technologies are relevant here: electrified drives, autonomous driving, connectivity, and mobility as a service are the core elements of virtually all strategy papers.
