With the increasing development of public transportation, bus routes and schedules cannot meet the dynamic travel demand of residents. To improve the level of service (LOS) of public transportation, the routes and schedules have to be optimized with the change of travel demand. Firstly, the topology of public transportation network is modeled and analyzed based on the Space-L model. According to evaluation indicators of complex networks of public transportation, the key nodes in the public transportation network are determined through the coefficient of variation (CV). Based on actual data, network efficiency, connectivity, and the relative size of the largest connected subgraph are selected to analyze the robustness of the bus network of the West Coast New District of Qingdao (WCNDQ). Based on the above research, this paper selects typical routes such as K3 and L1, and re-plans the dispatching plan of these routes.
