Abstract Flight guidance and avionics systems for future high-performance aircraft are complex signal processing systems. They process information of various sensors and via complex software, implemented in advanced hardware, they derive flight guidance information for the pilot or autopilot as well as signals for stabilizing the aircraft and for avionics (navigation, display etc.). So far the related systems have been formed in such a way that in essence functionally separated structures resulted. Examples of this are the navigation, flight control system etc.
