Abstract We consider the problem of adjusting the gear ratios of the aircraft autopilot without data on bank taking into account wind disturbances caused by atmospheric turbulence. The theory of Markov processes and extremal challenges is used to solve the problem. We present an example of adjusting autopilot gear ratios for the aircraft—autopilot dynamics system under wind disturbances.
