Unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with quadrotors have been used since the mid-twentieth century for various tasks, including transportation and delivery. These lightweight drones, made of materials such as carbon fiber or aluminum alloy, face challenges in energy consumption management due to problems with image processing, data processing, PID control, wireless connectivity, and computational difficulties. Eitan Frachtenberg highlights the development of practical drone delivery and its potential in numerous industries. Several research studies have been conducted to upgrade the algorithm, increase energy efficiency, and implement surveys and research toward community implementation. This paper reviews various papers on cooperative payload improvement and presents findings and future perspectives for better planning toward algorithm complexity, energy efficiency, and smoother operation response.
