Ever increasing population results significant rise in number of vehicles on the road in urban area. Time and man power wastage due to long waiting time on the road are the consequences of heavy traffic congestion on the road. Road traffic issues in the urban area is focused in our work by implementing Dinic’s algorithm. Dinic’s algorithm is developed to figure out the maximum flow in a flow network. Traffic flow could be controlled based on the capacity of the particular road. Traffic congestion would be minimized by organized traffic flow. Our proposed method work on by implementing Dinic’s algorithm on urban road junction to reduce the traffic congestion.
