The usage of natural fiber reinforced composites is increasing in the present decade as these materials showing good mechanical properties and promoting biodegradability. In this work, two different natural fibers such as jute and coir fibers reinforced in epoxy matrix in different proportions are considered and elastic properties are estimated with the combination of micromechanics and finite element method. Further, using analytical and simulation methods, the safe load of the considered combination of composite materials are predicted and failure load of the composite also estimated. The finite element models are verified with analytical results, and good relation is observed between them. The present work is used for effective design of natural hybrid composite with the perspective of failure load.
