The gas-sensing experiment is the basis for the research and application of electronic noses (E-nose). An unmanned gas sensing system named G919 is designed and manufactured for large-scale measurement of the E-nose for the first time. The fully automatic gas distribution system can realize the maximum five-channel gas dilution combination at any concentration. The well-designed pipeline structure can complete the function switching by controlling the electromagnetic valve, such as distribution, output, and cleaning. The environment simulation devices and different test chambers can accommodate E-noses of various sizes for simulation experiments of environmental changes. A signal conditioning circuit based on topology transformation of transimpedance can meet the data acquisition requirements of most sensor arrays with different types and parameters. A solution-oriented script is designed to actualize the mapping from experimental solutions to device control, which plays a vital role in the unmanned systems. This study will significantly improve the efficiency of the experiment and the reliability of data, laying the foundation for the successful application of deep learning as the pattern recognition algorithm of the E-nose.
