Abstract This paper aims at giving a flight dynamics perspective on ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter aerobraking operations, discussing the main challenges for both navigation and spacecraft commanding, describing the work-flow of activities within an operation cycle and presenting some results from the successful campaign, together with the most important lessons learnt.
