Abstract Thermal and electric structures of diffusion coaxial jet flames determined experimentally are presented. The Burke-Shumann problem is solved taking into account electrostatic forces appearing under imposition of an external electric field on the flame. The excessive concentration of negative charges in the flame plasma with oxidizer deficiency is evaluated.
