Urban freight transport has an important role in the sustainable development of cities together with passenger transport. Key performance indicators (KPIs) are important for local policymakers for decision making within the urban freight sector. This research paper is based on in-depth urban freight productivity research within the purview of policymakers in the case city of Jaipur. The hypothesis for this research was to check the weights of KPI, which are assumed to vary across commodities distribution in city logistics. This paper intends to come back up with aggregate weights of KPI across commodity distribution within the case city. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method was used to evaluate the KPIs across commodities within the case city. KPIs selection relies on economic indicators, social indicators, externalities indicators, and logistics performance indicators. This paper is based on a primary face to face pen and paper–pencil survey of stakeholders group consists of wholesalers, transporters, and social experts.
