Lane detection is a technology used in the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). For the last few years, various models are devised in the field of lane detection. Lane detection can detect edges without any prior knowledge about the topology of the road, and one of the major problems in lane detection is the presence of the noise on the footage. The number of vehicles on the road is increasing at an alarming rate. Since the density of the road traffic increases avoiding collision has become the primary focus, for which various vehicle detection techniques are used. If the lane lines are detected at the proper time and if the alert is given at the right time, then many lives can be saved.
