A method of optimal parameters is developed for electrothermal and jet protection of the airliner cockpit windows against fogging, based on the use of the cockpit thermal state mathematical model. The methods are developed for solving the direct and inverse problems of heat transfer and determining the confidence intervals of parametric identification estimates. The required characteristics are obtained.
