At present, “low carbon” is the trend of future development of the shipping industry, shore power technology is a kind of clean and efficient technology to provide power to ships from the shore. The automated docking of shore power is of great significance for improving the efficiency of shore power and eliminating the hidden danger of harbor security. To conduct an in-depth study, this paper focuses on the existing shore power technology, firstly analyzes the demand for automated docking of ship shore power, summarizes the current status of key technologies required to realize the automatic docking scheme for ships, then introduces the current automated docking schemes at home and abroad, and finally summarizes the characteristics of the current docking scheme for ship shore power and the direction of future development.
