This review paper provides a new approach for selection of the suitable vehicle from a set of vehicles of different models from different manufacturers. This paper analyzes various vehicle selection parameters and utilizes them by applying the multiple attribute decision-making tools. This research chooses some popular parameters like fuel consumption, engine power, cost, etc. of different alternatives and the vehicle buyer may use different preference level/weight factor as per his conveniences. For the decision-making analysis, combination of two MCDM tools, i.e., SAW and TOPSIS methods, was used. This study is mainly focused on Indian buyers. This work can be used in a suitable vehicle selection from the alternative models and other manufacturers by a customer giving his choices in proposed method.
