As a new theoretical knowledge, vehicle steering system plays a positive role in improving the safety and comfort of the road closed-loop system. In this paper, on the basis of understanding the research status of chassis control methods and related technologies at home and abroad, the steering system simulation with numerical simulation as the core is clarified, and the active steering control strategy is empirically studied. The results of this paper show that the steering system and active steering control strategy can effectively reduce the driver’s driving burden, improve the vehicle handling stability, and ensure the safety of active driving, which provides more theoretical basis for the independent research on the steering system.
