In this chapter we define dynamical control systems over spaces previously discussed and we formalize concepts as touched upon in Chap. 3. We start by introducing continuous-time dynamical systems on manifolds and a variety of stability notions. Then, we highlight Lyapunov stability theory, in particular, converse results. We end by detailing continuous control systems and a few stabilization paradigms.
