School trips for students are one of the common types of trips in the cities. The study of such trips is of great importance, whether for those in charge of the educational process and organizing it in coordination with transport planners or for parents of students and students themselves. This chapter represents a study of the factors that cause choosing the preferred mode of transportation for school trips in Baghdad city. This type of trip has witnessed a fundamental change in Baghdad during the past two decades after most school trips were carried out by non-motorized means in the recent past. Today most of the students going to the school using motorized means. The reason for changing transportation means is due to many economic and social variables. Many variables related to the study subject were collected by questionnaire and statistically analyzed using multiple regression models to extract the studied phenomenon tendency. This chapter’s conclusions showed a difference between transportation determination factors to the school between the various stages.
