Abstract Transport systems telematics are used in a variety of conditions surrounding it electromagnetic environment. Occurring over a wide transport area electromagnetic interferences, intentional or unintentional (stationary or mobile), can cause disruption of this system. The article presents the issues related to the modelling of the process of maintenance of transport telematics systems. It is taken into account not only the type of reliability structure, but also the effect of electromagnetic interferences on the analysed system. Through mathematical analysis, the obtained equations allow to calculate the probability of a complete system suitability R0(t) and the probability of failure Q0(t) for the selected maintenance situations. It is also taken into account the impact of the electromagnetic interferences, both additive and multiplicative, on the analysed system.
