Abstract The Space Flight Laboratory at the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies (UTIAS/SFL) is pioneering the use of commercial off-the-shelf technologies in space to support education and rapid access to space for Canadian researchers. The Canadian Advanced Nanospace eXperiment (CanX) Program empowers researchers across Canada by providing spacecraft under 10 kg that facilitate inexpensive research in low Earth orbit.
