Against the backdrop of the sudden Red Sea crisis, the Asia-Europe container shipping route was forced to detour to the Cape of Good Hope route, which brought about problems such as supply chain disruption, tightening of the supply side, and adjustment of ship schedules. So, this paper does research on the customer demands of Asia-Europe container liner companies. This paper firstly establishes a reasonable customer demand indicators system, and then builds the Kano model, and applies the entropy weight method and TOPSIS method to obtain the key factors to meet customer demands. The findings reveal that: Emergency handling capability, schedule reliability and schedule flexibility have the greatest impact on improving customer satisfaction. Their comprehensive importance has been greatly improved and they belong to expected demands according to the quantitative Kano model. Therefore, these factors are the primary direction for liner companies to improve service quality in the background of the Red Sea crisis.
