This article develops a metro train energy consumption modeling structure based on transient regenerative braking efficiency and conducts emulative research. Be-sides, the article herein also shows that the presented modeling method can base itself on energy consumption differences related to trains, lines, and operational characteristic and hence is applicable to detailed project-level analysis. The model may be conveniently integrated in traffic emulation system.
