In order to study the hydrodynamic performance and cavitation characteristics of the fully submerged hydrofoil boat sailing at high-speed, based on STAR-CCM +, this paper carries out numerical simulation on the wave piercing catamaran with attached hydrofoil under different conditions, and verifies the accuracy of the hydrodynamic performance research scheme and the necessity of cavitation research. Combined with the simulation results of hydrofoils, the optimal selection of the front hydrofoil, stern hydrofoil and strut of the fully submerged hydrofoil boat is determined. Under different working conditions, the hydrodynamic performance and cavitation characteristics of the fully submerged hydrofoil boat sailing at high-speed are simulated and analyzed, which provides a reference for the research of the same type of hydrofoil boat.
