Abstract This paper proposes a macroscopic model for managing networks in a context of inter-vehicular and system to vehicle information flow. The model is based on the GSOM methodology, supplemented with an instantaneous travel time estimator and a multilane extension. The instantaneous travel time estimator can be estimated with the GSOM model and can take into account multilane. Thus the model is compatible with information based reactive dynamic assignment based on a logit behavioral scheme. It is also applicable for transportation systems endowed with vehicular multimodality.
