Abstract The experts agree: Information processing must be integrated, ‘isolated solutions’ belong to the past The development in Hamburg will be shown. The presentation begins with a survey of the integration of data processing as attained today in the HHA concern with approx. 1, 500 end users. There follows a detailed discussion of the systems in the operations departments which are typical of transport companies. This will include technical and operational systems such as automatic vehicle monitoring, analysis and review system and passenger connection synchronization, and also a revenue allocation system in connection with the Hamburg transport association.
