In this paper, the event-triggered mechanism is incorporated into the robust adaptive dynamic programming(RADP) to solve the midcourse guidance problem of the aircraft with nonlinear, coupling, atmospheric disturbance and various uncertainties coupling. Firstly, in order to solve the adverse effects of system uncertainty on the flight guidance process, the ADP is constructed by calculating the current expected trajectory direction through the acquired information of friend or foe, and deducing the expected trajectory declination angle as the tracking target combined with the lateral control model. The problem of unknown value function is solved by introducing neural network. Secondly, in order to reduce the waste of communication resources and computing resources, the event-triggered mechanism is proposed. Guidance law is updated only when the event triggering conditions are met. Finally, the uniformly ultimately boundedness of the tracking error is demonstrated by the Lyapunov method. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the designed controller is validated through simulation examples.
