The AD’AGIO Protocol consists of a multi-professional approach for the accompaniment to autonomous and independent living of the elderly with visual impairment: a concrete path for home governance, safety and personal health.

The project took shape from the needs analysis of the target audience, where relevant dimensions of everyday life, living space and meaning of autonomy were then addressed by the project team of architects and designers, visual impairment rehabilitation therapists and computer scientists for the development of innovative support technologies.

The experimentation of the proposed solutions within a specifically adapted apartment allowed a coherent analysis and comparison between individual needs and multidisciplinary solutions.
