Abstract Fluid dynamics and heat transfer 3D investigations were performed on the models of HPT vane leading edges of different diameters, and the comparison with experimental data was carried out for the cylindrical leading edges of large diameter. The 3D model developed to determine the thermal state of inlet guide vanes in the conjugate problem definition, allow the optimization of leading edge jet cooling to be conducted with its increasing diameter.
