December 30, 2019, the world’s first intelligent high-speed railway independently developed by China with a speed of 350 km/h, the Beijing–Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, was successfully gone into operation. China’s achievements in high-speed railways were well known to the world. By the end of 2018, the operating mileage of China’s railways had reached 131,000 km.
